Crown Farm, Skelton
Crown Farm, situated about a mile west of the village of Skelton was purchased in 1740, by Joseph Robley (1690-1770), from John and Jane Wilson, and was owned by the Robleys until it was sold in the 1930s. The house was formerly an 'alehouse'.
