Fernbank, Cumwhitton stands between Midtown and Townfoot. This was the residence of Maud Mary Robley, her husband, Tom Dixon and their family. Maud was born at Scarrowmanwick, grew up at Midtown and moved to the Red Lion, Cumwhitton, after her marriage. The later part of her life was spent at Fern Bank and she died there in 1958.
