Funeral will take place from the residence

Of her brother, Thomas Robley, High Street

On Friday afternoon, October 28th, at half

past two o’clock, to the new St. James’ Cemetery

 

On Wednesday last the death occurred of Miss Elizabeth Robley, sister of Mr. Thomas Robley, with whom she resided. The deceased was in her 69th year and had been sick for some months.

Miss Robley had a large circle of friends to whom she was greatly endeared, and who will regret her decease. She lived an exemplary life and was diligent in good words and works.

The remains were interred in the new St, James’ Cemetery on Friday and were followed to the grave by a large number of mourning friends.

We are today called upon to announce the death, after a long and distressing illness, of an old friend and neighbour, Miss Elizabeth Robley. Hers was an exemplary life. In her particular sphere she will be missed. Miss Robley resided with her brother, Mr. Thomas Robley, and had been ill for some time (months). The funeral took place this afternoon and was largely attended.
