Peter John Robley the son and fourth child of Harold Horace Stanton Robley and Stella Fitzhugh was born in Waverley, Sydney on 23rd May 1945, following his father's discharge from the Army in 1944.
On 21st September 1968 he married Janet Edith Baker in Willoughby, New South Wales. The couple had four children over the next seven years to 1977.
Between 1964 and 1973 he was a member of the CMF (Citizen's Military Force), being discharged with the rank of Sergeant. The birth certificates of his four children show his occupation variously as Computer Operator, Airline Reservations Seat Controller, Airline Controller and Airline Officer.
In 1980 his occupation is described as Clerk.
A computer reservation system is used for the reservations of a particular airline and interfaces with a global distribution system (GDS) which supports travel agencies and other distribution channels in making reservations for most major airlines in a single system.
Peter John Robley died on 12th July 1996.
