Margaret died in 1872 at Dartford, Kent, & William in 1879 at Maidstone, Kent
1881 - EVR lived with Uncle and Aunt, Abraham & Eleanor Bateson at High Street, Gargrave, Yorkshire (Abraham occupation shoemaker)
1881 - EVR's sister Elizabeth lived with Abrahams sister Mary Elizabeth Bateson at Church Street, Gargrave, Yorkshire (Elizabeth occupation Asst Dressmaker)

First Attestation - Enlisted 13th Hussars Aug 1 1888 at Leeds, purchased discharge Sept 15 1888
Second Attestation - Enlisted 10th Royal Hussars Feb 20 1889 at York
Transferred to 18th Hussars Oct 5 1889 and was serving in India by November 1889
Went on the Unattached List in 1895 & served in the Indian Army, obtained rank of sub conductor (Sergeant Major) by 1903, Commissariat Transport Department

Beryl with her father, Edward Vincent Robley. Beryl married Frank Hogarth at Peshawar in 1919 & they had 3 daughters: Dora Jessie (b, 1920, Cawnpore), Jean Alice (b. 1922, Cawnpore) & Sheila E (b. 1923, Holbeck, England).
