Henry Edward Robley, son of William Nevison Robley and Jane Forster, was born on 19 July 1861 in Broadfield House, Warden, Northumberland at 04.10 hrs. He was twin to Joseph William Robley.
He was baptised, in 1861, in Warden
On the 1871 census he is recorded as living with his family at Broadfield House, Warden. He was 9 and a scholar.
He appeared on the 1881 census in Railway Cottages, Morpeth Castle, Northumberland. He was aged 19, a railway clerk & no longer living with his family.
Encouraged by his older brother, James Hindhaugh Robley who had already settled in Australia, Henry Edward (usually called Edward) sailed on board the Sorata arriving in Melbourne in March 1882.
Henry Edward married Ivy Jessie McCallum on 17 November 1885 in South Garra "according to the rites and ceremonies of the Church of England". Henry is described as a bachelor, aged 24 and by profession a clerk. Ivy was 27, a spinster and born at sea.

The family residence was Tremaine at Cromwell Crescent, Hawkburn, a suburb of Melbourne.
Henry Edward Robley died at the family home, Tremaine, 12 Cromwell Crescent, Hawksburn on 15 June, 1942. He was 80.
Henry's wife, Ivy Jessie McCallum died on 19 February, 1949, at Hawksburn, aged 90 years.
Evelyn Margaret Robley married Harry Gordon Oakley in 1950. She died at Yarrawonga on December 3rd. 1995, aged 93.
Vernon Edward Robley married in England while serving with the A.I.F. in WW1. On 27 October, 1919, at Hampstead, Vernon married Sophia Winifred Burfitt. They had 3 daughters & 2 sons. He died on December 22, 1962, aged 69.
